I also agree with this blog post. I have used many online sources as well as offline. It is really good to diversify and utilize different methods.

Remote trainers allow you to communicate remotely with your pet. With proper use, they help reinforce your commands and correct your dog's unwanted behaviors. They provide the ability to train your dog with precise timing and with consistency, both of which are important for effective training.

Nice post and thank you for participating in the Puppy In Training blog carnival. I agree that online dog training can be invaluable in your dog training arsenal. However, I do think that everyone should do their best to diversify there training. Group training is very important to help socialize your dog, e-book and online dog training make for great resources, books and videos are great too, and sometimes we need private in-home training to work out some of the tough to handle dog behavior problems.

I would make sure that she is housetrained and ok with having you touch her.. especially her ears and paws because it will make clipping her hair much easier later on in life. If you can get her potty trainjed just work on no, sit, stay, down(off),lay, and those commands and take the suggestion of pupy classes they are well worth the cost later on and make sure the puppy is ok riding in cars. It would also help to get her acclimated to as many situations as possible(i;e traffic, bikes, otherdogs, strangers, ect) Also make sure that he/she is socialized well so that there aren't any problems later on in life. Hope this helped and good luck with your new puppy!
References :
I'm thirteen and i've already had/have well over 20 dogs. experience

housetraining should start immediatly upon bringing him home. At first you should take the dog out every couple of hours and stay out with him until he goes. When he goes he needs to be rewarded right away, with praise and treats. Whe in the house look for signs he is about to go sniffing, circling, you'll oick up on them quick. In the event he does go you must punish him in the act, a loud NO is recommended, sometimes a quick swat on the butt but not to hard is neccesary. Then immediatly take him out and wait til he does his business, rewarding him and praising him when he does. If you find an accodent after the fact do not punish the dog, even if uoi bring him to it and show him it it will not understand and it will only confuse him
References :
I know how to potty train them. My dog wouldn't use the potty pads so every time she used the bathroom we would pick her up and shove her muzzle into it (well not into, but near where she went), and showed her why she was in trouble, then not throw her outside, but put her outside, and she would go out there with her tail between her legs. Except it took her over a year to learn that, and she's part terrier, so maybe there an impossible breed, good luck!
References :
We trained our Min Pin by using the potty pads. We eventually trained him to go outside. Now he wont pee/potty inside at all, he waits for us to come home and send him outside or for a walk.

Be consistant. Walks really do help. Make a spot to whre he should go potty. When its time to go say words like go potty. After every meal you should take your animal outside and relieve himself and before bed as well.
