How to teach your dog: to fetch drinks from the fridge!
September 4th, 2009
The clips in this video have been selected to highlight the progression in steps for training your dog to fetch drinks from the fridge. I use a ‘clicker’ to mark the desired behavior, and then reward with food or a toy. It may take up to several weeks to teach the entire behavior chain to a dog. When attempting to do this, it is critical that we remain patient and consistent, in order to set our dogs up for success and help them enjoy learning. Let me know what you think!
